  • Sarah’s Toy List for VI and Blind Babies and Toddlers
These are purchasable toys that I, as a parent to a child with blindness, would recommend. But remember: never underestimate the direct learning experiences that can happen with objects from around the home and various DIY project ideas online! A cardboard box is still the greatest toy ever invented! 😉 | http://www.amazon.com/lm/R2ZDJZ8WGB76XA/ref=cm_lm_pthnk_view?ie=UTF8&lm_bb=

  1. Hi there, The Hadley School for the Blind has a lot of great resources for parents of visually impaired children through our Family Education program. Our courses and seminars are free and are offered completely through distance education, so that parents and other family members can study on their own time and at their own pace. We would love it if you would consider adding Hadley to your resources page. This is our web site: http://www.hadley.edu and specifically the Family Education page: http://hadley.edu/fe.asp. Our toll-free number: 800-323-4238. Please feel free to contact me with questions or for more info: kate@hadley.edu
